Air France Jet sent out 24 error messages before Fatal Crash

The Air France jet that crashed into the Atlantic sent out 24 automatic error messages in its final moments as its systems -- including the autopilot -- shut down, investigators said Saturday.

At 500 miles per hour and 35,000 feet, Flight 447 may have Stalled


The Air France jet that crashed into the Atlantic killing 228 may have stalled after pilots slowed down too much as they encountered turbulence, new information suggests.

Airbus is to send advice on flying in storms to operators of its A330 jets, Le Monde reported today. It would remind crews of the need to maintain adequate thrust from the engines and the correct attitude, or angle of flight, when entering heavy turbulence.

Was there a "Bomb on Board" Air France Flight 447?


Days before the fatal crash(May 27), Air France received a 'bomb threat'. As is routine, the plane was grounded for one and a half hours, all passengers at that time were reported to be ok, and no one on the plane was evacuated.
