Elizabeth Taylor had been rushed to intensive care a few days. The 76 year old Liz had been put on life support after suffering from a bout of pneumonia that also led to her congestive heart failure. Her kids and a few friends were rumored to have held a 48 hour vigil at the hospital, as Liz was reportedly lay near the brink of death.
Family members stated that Liz had drifted in and out of consciousness and was struggling to breathe at times. And word had it that for awhile, doctors thought they were going to lose her.
