A criminal profiler well-versed in the lurid lives of serial murderers said the Craigslist killer is on a desperate crime spree to score quick cash for drugs so he won’t become “dope sick.”
John Kelly of STALK Inc. of New Jersey said the online prowler appears intelligent enough to hunt for victims on his ubiquitous BlackBerry, but frenzied enough to be careless in front of hotel surveillance cameras.
“At first glance, he looks like a drug addict,” Kelly said. “He’s trying to make a buck, but willing to act out violently.”
